The Medical Billing/Coding program prepares students for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) national certification exam. Students will learn medical terminology and how to use the coding manuals for CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS to describe and document medical services.
This program prepares individuals to take certification exams for industry credentials that are eligible for academic credit conversion.
Frederick County Public School students may receive free tuition through Dual Enrollment
at FCC for all courses. Fee and book scholarships may be available for select programs. Students should speak with their high school counselor first if they plan to enroll in an FCC workforce development course or program.
