Construction Management Technology Area of Concentration within STEM Technology A.A.S.

The Construction Management Technology concentration within the A.A.S. in STEM Technology prepares students for careers in construction management. The program covers construction methods, safety, materials, plan reading, cost estimating, project financing, communication, and construction law, including relevant federal, state, and local codes.

The Construction Management Technology Area of Concentration within STEM Technology A.A.S. provides students with a broad range of knowledge and skills required for success in a career in construction management. Students planning on transferring to a four year college should discuss course requirements with the program manager.

  • Demonstrate the complete construction process which includes effective planning, scheduling, and control of the overall construction project.
  • Articulate construction safety principles and practices, and related federal/state/county codes.
