President Cheek addresses Tech Council audience in JBK Theater
FCC Offers Workforce Development Insights at Data Center Summit

Frederick Community College is hosting the Maryland Tech Council’s Data Center Summit in the JBK Theater today, to a sold-out crowd. FCC staff will both learn from the Summit and contribute to it, by gathering information about forthcoming jobs in this emerging tech field as well as sharing current successful training models that are developing the workforce for the future.

Frederick Community College Unveils New Public Artwork

Frederick Community College (FCC) unveiled to the campus and community its first permanent public artwork sculpture, entitled “Growth,” by Thomas Sterner.  Sterner was inspired by the FCC campus sycamore trees, as well as FCC’s motto, “Avec progres marchons en avant.” (Let us move forward with progress).

FCC Students Recognized at Culinary Medicine Conference

The American College of Culinary Medicine recently recognized the achievements of five Frederick Community College (FCC) students who earned their Certified Culinary Medicine Professional (CCMP) certifications. The recognition took place in June at the 10th Annual Health meets Food: The Culinary Medicine Conference 2024.

For the first time ever, the ceremony will be held in the Knott Arena at Mount St. Mary’s University instead of the FCC Athletics Center.
