About Emily

This website is for the Emily Duckworth Memorial Benefit. The benefit is to provide funds for the National Brain Tumor Society, Stupid Cancer, and the Emily Duckworth Memorial Scholarship at Frederick Community College. Emily Duckworth died of a Glioblastoma in December of 2017 at the age of 21.

Her passions included dancing, music, archery, reading, singing, and helping others. She was a very caring individual who inspired everyone to be a better person and to be brave. Her family, especially her youngest sister are honoring her bravery and her desire to help others through an annual memorial day fundraiser.
