Current, Returning, & Incoming Transfer Students
Current and returning FCC students as well as incoming transfer students should make an appointment with their assigned advisor. Students are assigned to advisors by major.

Drop-In Advising
Drop-in hours are designated for quick questions that can be answered in 5 minutes. Drop-in advising can address the follow:
- Answering general advising questions
- Assist with logging into PeopleSoft
- Assist with reviewing degree plans
- Students needing a signature for Academic Alert who have already selected courses
- Help scheduling an advising appointment
Drop-in advising is available via Zoom Monday through Friday, 10:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:00PM to 3:00PM
Note: Drop-In Advising will not be available on the following dates due to College holidays: May 20, May 30, June 20, July 4.

Email Advising
Email advising is checked daily during operational hours, and the Career & Academic Planning Services staff will respond as quickly as possible. Typical response time is 24-48 hours. During peak registration periods in January and August, there may be a delay in response.
Email advising is intended for one or two short questions. Complex questions may require scheduling an advising appointment.
