Guidelines for In-Person Testing Center Services During COVID-19

As part of the process for reopening the Testing Center for live, in-person testing services, we are following the recommendations outlined in the Frederick Community College’s Roadmap to Resilience and Recovery to offer services on a limited basis.  These recommendations will help reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19, ensure cleanliness of the space to prevent the spread of the disease, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and candidates to conduct testing activities.

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines when using the Testing Center:

  • Park your vehicle in Lot 1 and enter through the Student Center (H-Building). Inform the staff at the Security Desk that you are heading to Linganore Hall (L-Building) for testing.
  • Buildings on campus will remain locked, if you need access to the building, please call the Testing Center at 301-846-2522 or return to the Security Desk in the Student Center for assistance.
  • No walk-in testing is available at this time.
  • You must bring and wear your own mask to enter the building.
  • Any form of PPE may be subject to inspection and must meet the requirements specified by the exam vendor, otherwise, a proctor may inform you that it is not allow in the testing lab.
  • Only bring essential personal belongings, keeping items stored in lockers to a bare minimum.
  • Sanitized pencils are available, but you may bring your own writing implements.
  • No food or drinks allowed in the building.
  • If you accompany a testing candidate to the building and plan to wait, please exit Linganore Hall immediately and go to a designated waiting area, such as the area near the Security Desk.
