Who can access LinkedIn Learning?

Frederick Community College (FCC) offers access to all full-time and part-time employees. Employees login using their FCC username and password.

Do I need a LinkedIn account?

You do not need a LinkedIn account to access LinkedIn Learning with your FCC username and password. However, if you have a LinkedIn account already, you may opt to connect it to your FCC account when logging in through FCC’s LinkedIn Learning portal. Connecting your accounts is optional and can be skipped when logging in.

As an instructor, am I allowed to use LinkedIn Learning in my classes?

At this time, FCC does not provide licenses to students, so instructors should not assign or use LinkedIn Learning content in the classroom.
 

Do LinkedIn Learning sessions time out?

LinkedIn Learning sessions time out after 30 minutes of inactivity.

How do I find courses to take?

There’s over 16,000 course options to explore! Here’s a few ways to find course options.
 
  1. Recommended courses
    When you first login, you can select your learning goal and opt to connect your personal LinkedIn account. These are optional steps, but they will help to recommend relevant courses to you based on your role and goals.

  2. Frederick Community College Collections
    Click on “Frederick Community College” on the LinkedIn Learning menu to find content recommended to FCC employees.

  3. Search for a specific topic
    Use the search box on the LinkedIn Learning home page to search for specific courses. Click the link to the course you want to explore, and then read the title.

  4. Browse
    Click on Browse to explore courses for different topics, industries, and roles.

Is there closed captioning?

Closed captioning is available on newer LinkedIn Learning courses.
