The recruitment for the next president of Frederick Community College has reached the finalist stage. The Board of Trustees has invited three finalist candidates to participate in on-campus interviews during the week of February 7.
Student input during this process is extremely important to the Board. Each candidate will take part in a Student Forum, which is open to all FCC students. We hope you can participate in all three forums, but appreciate if you can attend just one or two. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, February 7, from 1 to 2 p.m. – Candidate A
- Tuesday, February 8, from 1 to 2 p.m. – Candidate B
- Wednesday, February 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. – Candidate C
The candidates’ names and biographical information will be released closer to each forum.
The purpose of the forums is to provide students an opportunity to engage with the candidates about their views and the future needs and priorities of the College. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions live during the event. Following the forum, students will be provided the opportunity to give feedback on the candidate. Responses will be considered by the Trustees when they make their final decision.
The forums are being held in JBK Theater with the option to participate via Zoom. Zoom information is available below.
We hope all students will participate in this final phase of our search. If you have questions, you can contact Caroline Cole at
