Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant Training (CNA/GNA)
Learn about basic patient care skills, your role as a member of the health care team, disease processes, infection control, and safety issues. Combined with clinical, courses meet eligibility requirements for State of Maryland CNA certification and the Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) test. All-inclusive program (not including textbooks).

Dental Assisting & Dental Radiography
Debuting in a brand new Dental Lab in 2018, the FCC Dental Assistant Training Program is designed to prepare individuals to become productive members of dental teams as professional dental assistants. FCC’s program is developed using the guidelines, standards and accreditation requirements of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Prepare for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) national certification exam. Learn medical terminology and how to use the coding manuals for CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS to describe and document medical services.
Patient Care Technician
Certified Nursing Assistants(CNAs) will learn advanced, acute and chronic care skills to work as a Patient Care Technician in hospitals and other care settings. Successful course completion satisfies eligibility requirements for the National Healthcareer Association Patient Care Technician Certification Exam.
A Phlebotomy Technician is an integral member of the medical laboratory team. Phlebotomy Technicians work in clinical labs, hospitals, medical practices and blood donation sites. The Phlebotomy Technician program trains students in all aspects related to blood collection and other lab tests.
Sterile Processing Technician
Sterile Processing Technicians are in high demand working behind the scenes in healthcare settings such as hospitals, surgical centers and physician’s offices to ensure instruments and equipment are properly prepared and safe for patients. Program satisfies eligibility requirements for IASCHMM CRCST Certification.
Participants are eligible to a Frederick Community College Certificate of Completion verifying the completion of training required to work as a veterinary assistant.
