Sign Language Interpreting

At least two weeks prior to the date an interpreter is needed in class, send an email to interpreting@frederick.edu with the class name(s), dates, times, and location(s). DAS will make every effort to schedule interpreting services with less than five workdays’ advanced notice, however, is unable to guarantee these services without the necessary advance notice.

This procedure in practice is to ensure all students at Frederick Community College receive equitable access to their program of choice. Frederick Community College is committed to providing equal opportunity and access for students with disabilities by removing barriers to participation and providing reasonable accommodations. Disabilities can include but are not limited to learning, attention, hearing, vision, psychological, chronic medical, and physical.
