Webinar Series Prepares STEM Students for Transfer

STEM students interested in transferring to a four-year institution are invited to attend a two-part webinar series to learn more about the process and how to prepare for a successful transfer.
 
Part 1: Getting Ready to Transfer will be offered at two times on October 27, 2020. Students can choose to attend the session from 1:00-2:00 p.m. or 5:00-6:00 p.m.
 
Part 2: The Transfer Process will be offered on two dates. Students can attend November 10 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. or November 13 from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
 
Topics include:
  • Why pursue a four-year degree?
  • Types of four-year institutions
  • How to build transfer capital to ensure success
  • How to make a transfer plan
  • The transfer application process
  • Paying for a four-year degree

The series is sponsored by the C3STEM (Community Colleges Collaborating in STEM) Program at Mount St. Mary’s University, which is funded by the National Science Foundation S-STEM Award.
