Frederick Community College will hold a sendoff celebration for its volleyball coaches and players before they head to Phoenix, Arizona to compete in the NJCAA D2 National Tournament for the first time in school history.

The sendoff will take place in the Cougar Grille at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

The celebration will include a short presentation, team introductions, and speeches from FCC administrators and members of the Athletic Department.

FCC (27-3 overall) is the No. 15 seed and opens play in the tournament against the No. 2 seed Glendale Community College (29-1) on Thursday, Nov. 19.

The public is invited to help celebrate and cheer on the student athletes and coaching staff.
