FCC Institute for Learning in Retirement Holding Open House
09/07/2016

The Frederick Community College Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR55+) will host its Fall 2016 Open House on Friday, Sept. 9 when guests can explore opportunities for lifelong learning, meet ILR instructors, and register for classes.

The open house will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the FCC Conference Center. The event is free and registration is not required.

ILR offers short, casual classes, field trips, and special events for the intellectual stimulation and personal enrichment of adults age 55 and older in Frederick County. Classes begin and end at varying times throughout the term. There are no tests, grades, or homework, and classes instead focus on opportunities for participants to explore something new or improve upon a current interest.

•Common Sense in Economic Policy
•Frederick’s Grand Dame: Barbara Fritchie
