College Night for High School Students
09/27/2017
Frederick Community College will host admissions representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities at its annual College Night for high school students and their parents on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

The event will take place in the Athletics Center on the main FCC campus from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

“College Night is for all high school students, whether they plan to attend FCC and then transfer to a four-year college or university, or enroll in a four-year school right after high school,” said Marie Staley, Assistant Director of Admissions. “This event provides students the chance to talk face-to-face with someone from colleges and universities they are interested in attending to ask questions and get helpful information.”

Representatives from Hood College, James Madison University, Mount St. Mary’s University, Salisbury University, Shepherd University, Towson University, University of Maryland, Virginia Tech, and many other colleges and universities will be on hand to talk to students.

FCC has provided College Night guides to area high schools to help students prepare for the event. The guide includes a list of the colleges and universities that have been invited, suggests questions students should ask, and provides information students should consider when talking to admissions representatives.

The FCC Admissions Office expects a large turnout and recommends participants enter campus through the north entrance, across from Monocacy Middle School, for parking.
