The Hospitality, Culinary, Tourism Institute (HCTI) Presents a
Private Scholarship Wine Dinner, featuring Michelin Chef Gérard Pangaud

On April 2Oth, we will have the distinct honor and pleasure of hosting a private wine dinner to raise scholarship funds for Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism students featuring acclaimed Michelin Chef Gérard Pangaud.
Gérard Pangaud is the youngest 2-star Michelin chef ever and the first in America. He is one of only 67 chefs in the world who has earned the coveted certification as a Certified Master Chef (CMC). He has created and operated top-rated restaurants in Paris, NYC and Washington DC, earning a steady stream of prestigious and highly sought-after awards along the way. In 1982, he was chosen by French President Mitterand as Chef of the G-7 Conference held at Versailles. Gérard is best known in the DC area for his innovative, yet elegant French cuisine, first at the Ritz-Carlton, then in his own restaurant - Gérard's Place. More recently, Gérard was the corporate chef for Marriott International and Ritz-Carlton at Marriott HQ in Bethesda, and is now retired and resides in Frederick, MD.
Chef Pangaud will be preparing a four course meal, expertly paired with wines from around the world, and sharing his experience as a French chef with guests. This private event will be held at 200 Monroe Restaurant and seating will be limited to keep the experience intimate.
