Password Security

Effective passwords are both strong and protected. Strong passwords have at least a specified minimum number of characters, are a combination of alphabetic, numeric and special characters, and are updated on a regular basis.

Do not write down or store your password on a computer system where others might acquire it. Passwords should not be shared with other people. Change your password immediately if you know or suspect that it has been compromised.

Password Reset

If you do not know your password, you can reset it here.

If you know your username and current password, log into the system and select the “Change Password” option on the main menu.

Your new password must be at least 12 characters long and contain uppercase and lowercase characters. It must also contain at least one number character or non-alphabetic character, for example, an exclamation mark.

Once you have entered your new password information, select “change password”. Your new password will be the same for your Outlook email, PeopleSoft, and Blackboard access.
