Writing Tutors:
The Writing Center tutors are teaching faculty with advanced degrees in English or related fields, and trained, experienced staff tutors with strong educational backgrounds in writing and reading. They are available on a drop-in basis during the hours listed above.

Before coming to FCC in 2008, Betsey spent fourteen years teaching writing and literature courses at the community college level in Florida and Rockville, Maryland. Also, she has eight years of experience tutoring college students and helping them develop their writing, reading, and critical thinking skills. She earned her B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University and her M.A. in English from Clemson University.
