Academic Advising for New Students

Prospective students who are considering attending FCC should complete the Steps for Admission which includes applying to the College; submitting SAT/ACT scores or taking placement tests; and submitting high school or prior college transcripts.

New students who have been admitted to the college are ready to start the advising process by attending a new student orientation introducing students to the College.   

Which orientation should you attend?  

• New high school graduates attend the First Year Focus orientation
• Current high school students attend the Open Campus orientation
• All other new students attend the New Student orientation
