Advising Forms
Use the planning tools and advising forms below to help you create an academic plan consistent with your major’s requirements and your career goals:
The Individual College Academic Plan helps you write down your goals, gives you the contact info for FCC resources and services, and provides you with a “To-Do List” to help you reach your goals. Some things to add to your plan are:
- talking to Career Center staff or faculty about a career field of interest and its related college major
- meeting with your advisor to review the degree requirements for your major or to discuss changing your major
- attending a Study Skills workshop to strengthen academic skills so you can succeed in classes
- meeting Transfer School Recruiters to learn about their majors and transfer requirements
The Academic Planner allows you to map out classes you want to take each semester so you can plan your graduation date. You need to plan your courses for the current and subsequent semesters so you’re taking them in the right order and can graduate on time.
The Schedule Builder includes a Top Ten List for how to put your class schedule together each semester. Use it before you sign up for classes to make sure you have time to get everything done – studying, working, and having fun.
Use the Registration Forms link to find the other forms you need to keep your academic plan on target, such as Change of Major, Transcript Request Forms, and Graduation Application. All of these forms can also be found on campus in the Welcome & Registration Center in A-102.
