Student Technology Help Desk
The student technology help desk assists students with their technological needs. We provide orientations and one-on-one sessions designed to guide students through basic logins, including myFCC Email, Data Storage, Blackboard, PeopleSoft, FCC Alert, wireless printing, and general wireless access. We also reset passwords and familiarize student s with Microsoft Office 2010 and other school supported applications.
The student technology help desk also works in coordination with the financial aid office to donate computer equipment to qualified students

Office 2010 Support
Learn to navigate your way around the latest Microsoft Office 2010. Click on any of the links below and take and introductory course on Word 2010, Excel 2010, or Power Point 2010.
Basic Word 2010: This course will help you get familiar with the changes in this new version and how to perform essential everyday tasks.
Basic Excel 2010: This course will help you get familiar with the changes in this new version and how to perform essential everyday tasks.
Basic Power Point 2010: Get familiar with changes to the interface in PowerPoint 2010, such as the design for menus and toolbars known as “the ribbon,” and do the things you’d typically do to create a presentation.

Student Computer Donations
Frederick Community College has some computers ready to donate to students. To be eligible to receive a computer, you must be:
- a PELL Grant recipient or fall within the Lower Level Standard Income Levels or the 150% Workforce Investment Act Income Guidelines (for working adults)
- enrolled during the current semester as a credit student, or enrolled in one of the following eligible Continuing Education programs:
- Pharmacy Tech
- Phlebotomy
- Medical Billing
- Medical Coding
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Dental Assisting
