FCC Student Helpdesk

The student technology help desk assists students with their technological needs. We provide orientations and one-on-one sessions designed to guide students through basic logins, including myFCC Email, Data Storage, Blackboard, PeopleSoft, FCC Alert, wireless printing, and general wireless access. We also reset passwords and familiarize student s with Microsoft Office 2007 and other school supported applications.

The student technology help desk also works in coordination with the financial aid office to donate computer equipment to qualified students

myFCC  Each student enrolled at Frederick Community College has an official student email account. This email account also includes 150 megabytes of online data storage to store class assignments and other course related material. Student can access the myFCC site both on and off campus through the address https://myfcc.frederick.edu.

People Soft  FCC's web-based Student System allows you to complete most transactions on-line and to see real-time information about your academic and financial records and current availability of classes. You can get grades, register for classes, make a payment, print course schedules and more!

Blackboard  Blackboard is the platform for FCC's online courses. Students can complete a course or an entire degree online. There are also supporting Blackboard courses for traditional lecture based courses

FCC Alert.  Sign up for FCC Alert to receive instant alerts direct to your cell phone and/or email account.  With FCC Alert, you will be the first to know about campus emergencies and weather closings.

Student Computer Donations

The student help desk works in coordination with the financial aid office to donate computer equipment to qualified students. The FCC Information Technology Department occasionally has surplus computers available for donations to financially eligible students. If you are a Pell Grant recipient, you are eligible to receive a surplus computer should one become available.  

The computer donation process is currently under evaluation - No computer donations are available at this time.
