Head Coach: Breanne Hathaway
Breanne Hathaway, a 2004 graduate of FCC, is in her fourth season as head coach. While at FCC, she received Region XX Honorable Mention honors in 2002 and Second Team All-Region honors in 2003. She continued her career at Shippensburg University where she played volleyball and helped her team to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Championship in 2005. Breanne graduated from Shippensburg in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minor in Biology and earned her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Frostburg University in 2008. She has previously coached for the Frederick Area Volleyball Organization (FAVOR).

Assistant Coach: Shannon Lertora
Shannon Lertora joined the Cougar Volleyball staff in August, 2010 as an Assistant Coach. A graduate of Walkersville High, she graduated from Hood College in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She played four years of volleyball for the Blazers and was captain during her senior year. While at Hood, she earned numerous awards and recognitions including the Coach’s Award, Silver Blazer Awards, Athlete of the Week, and Unsung Hero Award. During her senior year, Shannon received the Dean’s Award, which was given to the student-athlete who embodies all of the desirable characteristics of a good teammate and friend. During her career, Shannon ranked as high as 25th among all Division III players in service aces per game (0.81). Shannon was also a two-time All-Atlantic Women’s College Conference (AWCC) selection. Shannon earned a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the College of Notre Dame of Baltimore in 2006. She is currently employed with the Naval Medical Logistics Command at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
