2011 Women's Soccer Schedule

Yi Lin Liu, Head Coach

Yi Lin Liu was named Head Coach of FCC’s Women’s Soccer Team in February.  He looks to restart a team that did not compete in 2010.  An Assistant Professor of Physical Education at FCC, Liu brings 12 years of women’s soccer coaching experience to the position, as the Head Coach of both Linfield (OR) and Hanover (IN) Colleges before coming to FCC.  He holds Class “C” Certification from the USSA.  Coach Liu lives in Frederick with his wife Sherry.

Liu will be assisted by Bob Bofinger.  A longtime coach in the Linganore Urbana Youth Athletic Association (LUYAA), “Coach Bo” also coached the Linganore High JVs from 2005-06.  He is a USSF Grade 8 certified referee and holds NSCAA Advanced Regional and Goalkeeping Diplomas.  He is an engineer with the Maryland State Highway Administration and lives in New Market with his wife Debbie.
