The Cougars play in the extremely competitive Maryland JUCO Conference.
The 2011-12 season will mark Dave Miller's 19th as FCC's Head Coach. Miller has 43 years of coaching experience, including 12 at Walkersville High School, where the Lions won two state championships, were state runners-up twice, made six final four appearances and won seven league championships.
Miller has led the Cougars to a 318-204 record, playing in the last 18 Region XX tournaments. His teams have produced eight All-Americans and 64 of his 79 sophomores continued their education at four-year schools. Of those 64, 50 played basketball and 39 received full scholarships.

Anthony Hubbard, a 6'5" sophomore guard/forward from Woodbridge, VA has been named to the NJCAA Division I All-America Second team. He averaged 20.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game as he led the Cougars to a 26-5 record and the finals of both the Maryland JUCO and the Region XX Tournament.
This marks the second consecutive year that FCC has had a Men's
Basketball All-American. in 2010, forward Alex Jackson was named to the
Honorable Mention team.
