Dining services operates four different venues on campus including the Cougar Grille, Smooth Joe’s, A Taste for All Seasons Catering Dining Servicesand vending services which are provided 
by Pepsi and Royalle Vending Services.

Dining Services Meal Cards
Meal Card

You can purchase meal cards online for any denomination five dollars and up. Purchase a meal card for $50.00 and receive a coupon good for $5.00 off any purchase at the Cougar Grille or Smooth Joe’s. If you purchase a $100 meal card you will receive two $5.00 coupons. 
Meal cards are valid at both the Cougar Grille and Smooth Joe’s. See the cashier at either location for further details and to purchase your meal card. Meal cards may be ordered online here.  
They make great gifts, too!
Purchase your meal card during the first two weeks of each semester and receive a FREE Mug which comes with a coupon for a free drink. 

Use your mug for refills during each semester and your refills are only 95 cents. You can save over $100 per semester by using your mug and help the environment at the same time!


Cougar Grille

The Cougar Grille is located in the Classroom/Student Center (Building H), conveniently located in the center of campus only a few steps away from your class.

Dine in our spacious, well lit dining room and enjoy your favorite style of seating, including booths, dining tables, high top tables and comfortable lounge seating.


Fall & Spring Semesters

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Fridays 8:00am - 1:30pm

June, July & August
Monday – Friday:  8:00am – 1:30pm

The Cougar Grille is open to all students, faculty, staff and the general public. The Cougar Grille serves breakfast all day featuring made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, omelets, yogurt parfaits, fruit, muffins and more.

The Grille Features 7 areas:

Saikou Sushi (available Fall & Spring semesters)
Saikou Sushi partners with the FCC Dining Services Department providing a trained sushi chef who makes fresh made sushi on-site Monday through Thursday.  Pick-up some for lunch and stop by and pick up some to take home for dinner.

Stop by the grille for one of our many made-to-order sandwiches featuring char-grilled hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, cheese steak subs, Philly cheese steak subs, grilled cheese, turkey burgers, gardenburgers, 3-grain burger, chicken tenders, chicken nuggets, French fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings and more.  Check out our feature sandwich of the week here.

Chef’s Alley
Check out our Stir Fry Bar – Watch our staff make you your own Asian dish with your choice of lo mein noodles or rice with your choice of vegetables, fruits and meats and your choice of sweet & sour sauce, general tso sauce or teriyaki sauce.  Check out the noodle bar with your choice of lo mein or rice noodles with your choice of shrimp, chicken or tofu and top it with your choice of carrots, bean sprouts, green onions, broccoli, shitake mushrooms and choose your broth of chicken lemon grass or vegetarian broth and top it off with sriracha hot sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet chili sauce or lime juice. We even provide you with chopsticks!

Eggrolls – Vegetable or Pork

Chef’s Alley also serves hot entrees and side dishes during the lunch hours of 10:30am – 1:30pm on various days Monday – Thursday.

Custom made sandwiches and wraps on your choice of country white or whole wheat bread or tomato basil, garlic herb, whole wheat or jalapeno cheese tortillas.  Select from oven roasted turkey breast, Virginia baked ham, deli chicken, house made chicken salad, or chicken tenders.  Look for the deli feature of the week here.

Sante Fe Turkey – Roasted turkey breast, cheddar cheese, bacon, sliced tomato, leaf lettuce and chipotle mayonnaise
Rustico Ham & Cheese – Virginia baked ham, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, leaf lettuce and zesty bistro sauce
Tuscany Chicken Salad – House made chicken salad, sliced tomato, leaf lettuce and pesto mayonnaise
Hot Italian – Hard salami, capicolla ham, peppered ham, lettuce, sliced tomato, provolone cheese & Italian dressing
Mediterranean Veggie – Hummus, red onion, cucumbers, black olives, sliced tomatoes, Feta cheese and Greek dressing
Monterey Chicken – Grilled Chicken Strips, provolone cheese, bacon, sliced tomato, leaf lettuce, ranch dressing and guacamole

Make your own salad, have a hot cup of soup or a slice of fresh baked pizza. Our salad bar features over 30 items and is expanding.

Short on time?  Stop by our Grab & Go cases and select a house made salad, wrap or sandwich, cool yogurt parfait or pudding, fresh cut fruit, sabra hummus, yogurt and fresh made sushi.  Great for lunch and pick up something to take home for dinner!

Stop by for a quick drink or complete your meal with a fountain drink or bottled beverage with a full selection of beverages from Pepsi, Juice, Teas, Coffee, Cappuccino and more.

Add one of our pastries with your drink – choose from muffins, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, scones, donuts, eclairs, danishes, cookies, biscotti and much more.

Short on time? Grab a drink and pair it with a yogurt parfait or for lunch or dinner grab a sandwich or wrap made fresh in our kitchen.

Catering Menu
A Taste for All Seasons Catering services special events for internal and external groups using campus facilities.  A Taste for All Seasons Catering offers everything from coffee service to boxed lunches to fully catered buffets for groups of 10 – 1000.  You can view our catering brochure by clicking on the link below: guidelines and pricing are included in the brochure.  If your event is at least two weeks away you can place your order by using the convenient catering reservation form located below.  If your event is less than two weeks away please check with one of the two people listed below for availability of the date you need service.

Also below is a link to our Food to Go Menu for items available for you to pick-up and serve for your on campus events.  Many of our catering menus can also be provided this way.

Vending Services on the FCC Campus are managed by The FCC Dining Services Department and Service is provided by Pepsi & Royalle Vending Services.
Vending machines are conveniently located in the Conference Center, Arts & Student Center, Field House, Library Building, B/C Knuckle, H Building and at the Monroe Center.
If you encounter problems with a machine please notify the dining services management office at 301.624.2738 or 301.846.2466 so that a repair call may be placed. 
Refunds are cheerfully refunded at the Cougar Grille during normal operating hours.
