Class Notebook/Academic Planner - How should I organize these resources?
Characteristics of an organized class notebook.
- shows good, logical organization is neat and legible contains class handouts, class and study notes
- has syllabus and “point values sheet” at front of notebook
- has place for homework assignments (or found in Academic Planner)
- has punched holes in handouts, syllabus, etc. contains no loose papers or handouts contains dividers; dividers have titles/topics contains quizzes/tests/projects
- has student's name in plain view on first page
Characteristics of an organized Academic Planner
- contains dates/times for tests/papers/projects
- contains dates/times for important academic events
- contains dates/times for important non-academic events contains homework assignments (or found in Class Notebook)
- shows evidence of future plans for school/work/life has student's name in plain view on first page
