How to Register for ESL Courses

1. Complete an admissions application in the Records and Registration Center on the first floor of the Administration Building.
* Please bring a photo ID for admission and registration.

2. Take the ESL Placement Test in the Testing Center, Library Building, Room L-104, Phone: 301.846.2522
* Be sure to bring a photo ID with you, and allow three hours for the test.

3. Meet with Teresa S. Clark, Assistant Professor/Program Manager for ESL, or a Counseling & Advising staff member.
* Be sure to bring a copy of your test results with you.

4. Take your completed schedule to the Welcome and Registration Center in the Student Services Building to register for classes.

5. Pay for your classes at the Cashier’s window in the Student Services Building. (J119)

Note: Both Academic (credit) and Continuing Education courses are offered on the FCC campus during fall, spring, and summer sessions. Register early before the start of each semester to ensure a seat in the class you want. Registration is possible through the first day of class, but only if spaces remain available.

6. Purchase books at the FCC Bookstore (located in the Arts & Student Center).
