FCC Surgical Technology Graduates Pinned

Frederick Community College’s Surgical Technology Program recently celebrated the graduation of 20 students in the class of 2012. New graduates include Kelly Drury, Zakary Everhart, Jennifer Gillard (class valedictorian), Renee Greszler, Aaron Hendi, Chekesha Hines, Jessica Huff, Shelley Kimball, Christopher Lewis, Dave Lufkin, Pamela Menge, Karen Miles, Dayana Milien, Natasha Miltenberger, Elizabeth Mossburg, Miranda Penn, Crystal Proffitt, Jill Raimato, Angela Rea, and Nuoman Tullu.

Surgical technologists assist surgeons, nurses and anesthesiologists in the operating room by helping to set up the operating room for surgery, assembling equipment and supplies, preparing patients for procedures, and supporting the operating room team before, during and after surgery.
