FCC Pins Nuclear Medicine Technology Graduates

The Frederick Community College nuclear medicine technology program recently pinned eight students graduating this spring. The graduates have earned their associate degrees in science or a certificate and are now eligible to take the national certification exams, ARRT and/or NMTCB.

Nuclear medicine technology obtains images of the body’s systems, and helps diagnose and treat diseases through the use of small amounts of radioactive materials. The pinning ceremony symbolizes the successful completion of a nuclear medicine education program and the graduate’s readiness to enter the profession as an educated practitioner.

The 2012 graduates of the FCC nuclear medicine technology program include: Laurie Arnold, Jason Harrison, Christopher Hubbard, Justine Johnson, Ernest Luehring, Dianne Moffat-Elliott, Matthew Sullivan, and Hsiang-Lan Velte.
