FCC to Host 10th Annual Latino Festival

Frederick Community College will host the 10th Annual Latino Festival on Sunday, September 27.

The festival honors and celebrates the rich traditions and contributions of the Latino culture and attracts many people from around the region.

“This is always a fun, high energy event,” said Shezwae Fleming, Director for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. “It’s a great opportunity for our community and region to come together to celebrate and educate others on the vibrant Latin American culture that means so much to our community members.”

The festival will feature Latin American food, music, arts and crafts, dance, sporting events, and more. It will take place from noon to 5 p.m. between the Athletics Center and Linganore Hall and is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
