About Learning Online

Hardware and Software for online learning:

• Off campus Internet access with an Internet browser:  Internet Explorer 8 or higher (PC); Firefox (PC and MAC). 
• Multimedia Computer with Windows XP  or Vista or MAC OS10 or higher
• Current version of Flash (get Flash) and Java (get Java)
• An FCC e-mail address

Before registering for a course, make sure to review any software requirements. For example, some courses may require that students have access to particular software applications. It will also be helpful to have a back up plan in case you have technical difficulties and are unable to use your computer for an extended period of time.
