Blackboard Assist
Frederick Community College maintains a comprehensive support system for all Blackboard users , both students and faculty.
- How do I access the system?
Go to http://courses.frederick.edu/bbsupport. A direct link to this website is also located on the login page of Blackboard, look for "Click here for FCC user support". Another link can be found under General Information in all FCC courses that use Blackboard. - What can I expect from BBsupport?
You can expect two services: (a) tutorials, Q&As, written instructions etc. that could answer most of your questions; (b) you can expect to find an email form that you submit to get a speedy answer to things you cannot find in the written material. - Who answers the submitted email questions?
Staff from Learning Technologies/Distance Learning take turns over 6 days a week to answer BB Assist emails. Both faculty and students should have a response to a question within 4 or 5 hours during normal FCC business hours; after hours and during the weekend responses may take a little longer.
