Noncredit Online

FCC's continuing education/customized training division offers a range of noncredit distance education courses in business, management, and technology. These courses do not grant college credits, and are designed to meet the training needs of today's workplace.

Online continuing education (noncredit) courses are available that allow you to read lessons, complete assignments, and ask questions from your home or office computer. You may find it inconvenient or impossible to fully participate in a traditional classroom setting due to work commitments, child care issues, distance from campus, physical disabilities, or difficulties in securing adequate transportation.

Instructions for Enrolling in an Online Class

  1. Register for the class (see below for ways to register).
  2. Take the required orientation. At this time you will select the specific class - noted by start date and index number.
IMPORTANT: You must take the online orientation before the start date. Any student who fails to attend the orientation will be withdrawn from the online course on the start date. When registering for more than one course, students will need to attend the online orientation for each class.
  3. Login into your class using the login name and password created by yourself during the orientation once the class begins.

For questions and/or problems, please use the following steps:

The advantage of distance learning is that it enables you to learn when it's convenient for you, and on-campus attendance is minimal.
