Project Management Institute®
Project Management uses proven techniques to build a practical project plan and follow it through to successful completion. Whether your project team needs an in-depth course in one of the nine major areas of the "best practices" according to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKT) or you need to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Examination, Frederick Community College has the course to fit your project management needs.
Human Resources Professional Certification- SHRM
Through a partnership with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), FCC offers classes to prepare students for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SRHR) exam. Certified Bookkeeper
FCC offers classes to prepare you for a career as a certified bookkeeper, one of the jobs with the best prospects according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Food Service Sanitation

For those who manage staff on a daily basis, FCC offers courses on a variety of management topics including conflict resolution, mediation, communication, delegation and information for new managers. Small Business Series
Looking to be a consultant, open a retail store, own your own restaurant? Whatever small business idea you have for yourself, FCC provides a variety of classes specifically designed to provide small business owners and professionals with skills and information to expand their knowledge and grow their businesses. Classes include the basics of starting and operating a successful business, as well as, classes on specific subjects like QuickBooks, financial planning, tax issues, employee relations, customer service, and marketing.
