General Education Development (GED®) Preparation

GED Preparationon Earning a high school diploma is the first step towards getting a better job and furthering your education.

Our GED® Preparation classes are small and offer a review of writing, social studies, science, reading and math so that you can pass the GED® test and earn a Maryland High School Diploma.

To enroll in a GED® Preparation class, you must be at least 16 years old, officially withdrawn from high school, and attend an orientation session, where you will be given a placement test. Attendance at orientation is required.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Orientations are given in two parts. The dates for part one are listed above. The dates for part two will be given at the first session.
  • Orientations will last approximately 2.5 hours
  • NO children are allowed at Orientations.
  • Space is limited by location. Please arrive early to ensure a spot.
  • There is no need to register for Orientations.

    After earning your diploma, we recognize your achievement at an annual ceremony where family and friends celebrate your success, and county and college officials offer their congratulations.
