Music for Enrichment, for Adults and Children

FCC’s Continuing Education Division offers individual instruction, ages 6 through adult and at any level of advancement, in piano, voice, guitar, brass, strings, woodwinds and percussion.  Students may choose 13-half-hour, 45-minute or hour-long sessions for fall or spring semesters.  A summer session of 7 weeks of instruction is also offered.  Performance opportunities include end-of-the-semester recitals, repertoire classes held twice a semester, (see music program calendar) or participating in various ensembles.    To register, students should first contact the instructor for availability and individual lesson scheduling. Click here for viewing faculty by name or here for viewing faculty by instrument.  Children under the age of 6 may study with permission of instructor.  Students provide their own practice instruments.  After obtaining permission from instructor, consult the Continuing Education Schedule of classes for specific course numbers and registration form.

Classes

Non-credit music classes include Suzuki group violin/viola lessons for children, classical music for the adult beginner, class voice instruction (vocal basics for the amateur singer), and our ensembles.  For class descriptions and registration information, consult the Continuing Educations Schedule of Classes.
