Friday, October 21, 1-4:30 p.m. Transfer Festival at Howard Community College. MACMA. (Maryland Area College Music Association) presents an afternoon of master classes, admissions counselors, student panels, and music department administrators from 4-year area college music programs for aspiring music students, but particularly students transferring as music majors to four-year programs. Contact Dr. Chipman for more information.

Sunday, November 13, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mallet Day! Culminating Concert, 7:30 p.m.
FCC’s second annual day-long percussion workshop, consisting of clinics and performances on marimba, xylophone and vibes.  Internationally known percussionists perform solo and ensemble repertoire and join local students to perform in a Mallet Orchestra.  Door prizes galore!  For additional information concerning the day’s events:  443.621.8694.  $10 Admission, Workshop + Concert; $10, Concert only.

General admission:  $12 Adults. $10 Students and Seniors.  Free to FCC students and staff with ID.  Tickets may be purchased at the Theater Box Office the evening of the performance. 
 
Friday, December 2, 7:30 p.m.  Symphonic Fables. The FCC Wind Ensemble presents its December Concert, featuring music inspired by familiar folk tales.  Aaron Lovely directs.
