Languages

Welcome to the Foreign Language Department at Frederick Community College! Here our mission is to provide excellent language instruction to develop students’ communication abilities, cultural awareness in the language(s) chosen, and to prepare them better to face a global environment.

We offer transfer-level courses in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian, and Spanish. Most of our language courses meet General Education requirements. Foreign language classes are taught on campus, online, and in a hybrid format. We offer study abroad programs to Buenos Aires, Argentina (summer) and Cuernavaca, Mexico (January Term).
