Performance Contracting at FCC

CO2 Demand Controlled Ventilation

Scope of Work includes:
Minimizing the outside air damper minimum positions and providing indoor air quality ventilation control by monitoring CO2 levels.

  • The following areas (total 13) will have CO2 Demand Ventilation provided and programmed:
    • Rms. 124A, B, C & D
    • Rms. 126A, B, C & D
    • Sweadner (Large Conference AHU)
    • Library AHU's 
  • The CO2 transmitters are to be provided and installed in the associated area AHU return air duct.  Mounting, wiring and connections to the JCI ddc energy management system will be provided by JCI.  The existing AHU sequence DDC programming will be modified to implement the new indoor air quality procedures.
  • The JCI DDC system AHU graphics will be updated to display the monitored CO2 levels.
