This is a good example for understanding energy efficiency. In this experiment we took an incandescent light bulb and compared it to a CFL lightbulb. Using the equipment shown below we were able to take measurements of the relevant inputs and outputs. The Watt Meter measured the input. The Light Meter measured the output.
