FCC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Institute Open House
Time: 9:30 AM-11:30 AM FCC’s Monroe Center, 200 Monroe Avenue July 14, 2012
The Frederick Community College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Institute will host an open house at its new facility on Saturday, July 14 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The culinary Institute is located at FCC’s Monroe Center, 200 Monroe Avenue, which is within one-fourth of a mile of the Frederick Fairgrounds.
The open house will offer information about certificate and degree programs that prepare students for careers in the culinary and hospitality industries.
Prospective students are invited to take a tour of the kitchens, meet the chef-instructors, and speak to FCC staff about financial aid and scholarship options. Anyone interested in culinary and hospitality careers can learn how to change careers in as little as two semesters.
The open house sessions will include two opportunities to learn about the culinary program. Participants may begin at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m.:

FCC’s Culinary Institute offers extensive hands-on learning with small classes and personal attention from chef-instructors. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify, as well as career placement assistance. Classes are offered at a variety of times, including mornings, noon and evenings.
