Join us as we celebrate our 50th anniversary of serving thousands of students over the years. Starting in Fall 2007, we paused to honor the past and imagine the future with a series of planned activities through Spring `08. We’ve grown from 57 students taking night classes at Frederick High School in fall `57 to more than 16,000 credit and continuing education students on our campus today.

Join us as we show how far we’ve come in 50 years. Bring your family and enjoy a day of fun on our campus including planned athletic events, food at 1950s prices, Segway rides, music and more. For info call 301.846.2429.

The Stars are Out Tonight: An Evening of Celebration – held September 8, 2007
The 50th Anniversary gala, “An Evening of Celebration” was a grand affair for the 250 people who enjoyed a night of great food, camaraderie, an art auction, and dancing to the Cool Jerks.

Golf Tournament—held Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at Glade Valley Golf Club
The Alumni Association and the Athletics Department cosponsored a day of golf that netted $28,000 for alumni scholarships and programs for basketball scholarships. Thirty-one foursomes teed off in a scramble format and concluded the day with lunch at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. The event was coordinated by co-chairs Becky Linton and Dave Miller.
